WYSVP is a Massachusetts-based, independent producer of short and feature length films, specializing in the following genres:

• Damsel-in-Distress -- A new vision of the classic films like "Jungle Jim," "The Perils of Pauline," and "Tarzan." We explore this genre in its many sub-themes, from the 18th century popular fiction (e.g. Collins' "The Moonstone") to the current twists of the 21st century (where the "damsel" is more than she appears to be). We re-examine such themes as nature amuck (e.g. characters attacked by plants, spiders, snakes, etc.), the lure of quicksand (as a trap for the innocent and a means of disposal for the guilty), and deadly dilemmas (the villian trapping our heroine in the sawmill, on the railroad tracks, etc.).
  
  
• Horror/Thriller/Sci-Fi -- Not your teenage slasher or mutant alien, but films with intelligent, resourceful heroes/heroines and villians who are more than killing machines, and where Mother Nature is more foe than friend. Our aim here is to produce high quality, well-written shorts, similar to those you see on atomfilms.com--projects, where atmosphere, foreshadowing, and the hint of further darkness trump gore and blood scenes.
  
  
• Comedy-Dramas -- A lighthearted approach to otherwise frightening predicaments, like our Mis-Adventures of Fanny and Rose series. Our work runs the gamut from campy to serious dramas.
